About The Caleb Company
Meet our Team - Tod McDowell - Don Finto
Blessings to all of you!
The Caleb Company name was inspired by Israel’s warrior who was conquering territory into His old age and whose descendants
conquered the Land — Numbers 14:24 & Joshua 14:11.It was formed to further the Kingdom of God through encouraging Pastors and leaders; supporting and challenging the church to
recognize the growing movement of God among Israel and the Jewish people; and helping to unite Jews and Gentiles together in
Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) through the following ways:
- Supporting Jewish believers, especially those in the Land. This includes helping to raise and distribute financial support as well as taking a role in restoration and reconciliation. Donations are an integral part of the process, yet The Caleb Company also works to foster employment and economic growth by connecting businesses and finances from the nations to opportunities in the Land.
- Helping Helping the Church come alive to its Jewish/Hebrew roots and how God’s covenant heart for Israel affects the nations. This happens primarily through Don and others speaking to Pastors and leaders, both nationally and internationally.
- Empowering and Mentoring Empowering and Mentoring others, especially in their part of the ‘Israel Mandate’. This is accomplished by developing relationships, partnering with others in The Caleb Company family, and gathering and shipping relevant materials.
Isaiah 11:1-22 – “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord – and he will delight in the fear of the L0rd. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth…”
Although Don Finto is the founder of The Caleb Company it is not just about one man - except Yeshua - Jesus our Lord. We exist to exalt the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to see His Holy Spirit move in and through us to work His will – to see His Kingdom come here on earth as it is in Heaven. This is our inheritance, this is our legacy - join us in the pilgrimage.
Caleb Board
Caleb Board and Advisory Board – these are some of those who are joined with us, either as board members or advisory board members. The active board now consists of David Hooper, as chair, Doug and Dabney Mann, David and Laurie Vanderpool, Harry and Linda Moessner, Tod Bell and Marty Goetz. Don’s son, David, who lives in Plano, Texas, serves as an ad hoc member. Mickey Robinson, David Fitzpatrick, Michael W. Smith and James W. Goll are welcome to any of our board meetings and serve us as advisors, as well as the Belmont Church Elders and Tikkun executive board that consists of Dan Juster, David Rudolph, Eitan Shishkoff and Asher Intrater).
The Caleb Company is a donor supported, not for profit 501c3 tax deductible organization, we trust, to the glory of God. It was begun in the closing years of Don Finto's pastorate at Belmont Church as the Lord began to call him to a role in the growing community of Jewish believers of Yeshua. The Caleb Company is also endorsed by the Belmont Church (where our offices are housed), and is a bridge with other congregations and/or individuals
who have a similar heart, call and vision.
